I knew that I was in trouble when a student in my speech class pointed at me and said, “Look at the face she is making!” I was in the process of answering a rather odd question from another student. My first thought was that I must look incredibly funny, bizarre, or stupid. But it was too late – another one of my facial expressions had escaped. Now this isn’t so bad when surrounded by friends and family, but when you are in front of twenty college-aged students it’s a different matter! Alas, my overly expressive face draws attention yet again. At least I had the class’s undivided attention for a few moments!

Posted by: eMom at February 3, 2005 10:30 PMRight in the middle of clas!? Wow, that's funny. I wish I had had you for a speech teacher. I've got Miss Naler for OCP and she's a hoot! I don't think she's nearly as expressive as you are.
