Art in the Park wrapped up yesterday. Steph and I were there on Sunday to help out my Dad who had a booth across from Spill the Beans.
I'll try to give more advanced notice on events like these for those in the area. If you missed the show or you're interested in sculpting classes, you can check out his website at DougYoungStudios.com.
Posted by TheIdeaMan at September 19, 2005 03:05 PM | TrackBackafter i talked to you yesterday i ended up stopping in briefly at Rockford Art Museum's 57th annual Greenwich Village Art Festival, which took up some 8? blocks and of which i'd never heard before. it was fantastic. i couldn't believe how fantastic it was. fabulous. stupendous. couldn't fathom something like that here, instead of chicago. and i'm already gearing up for next year.
i hope you guys had fun. congratulations to your dad!
Posted by: joy at September 19, 2005 04:03 PMdid you also see the photo of your dad in the photo essays?
and where's gwen? i thought the paper staff always found her at these sorts of things! =}
Posted by: joy at September 19, 2005 04:07 PMi was stuck away in a trailer selling pepsi and water for ridiculously high prices to the Art in the Park attendees. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't make it in the photo essay this time... :-(
