I just got back on Tuesday morning around 4 am from a quick weekend trip to NYC. Cate and I, along with Rob and Sarah Elkin stayed with the Christopher family in Park Slope in Brooklyn. Steve Christopher is the pastor of Memorial Baptist Church there.
We had a great time. Went shopping in Manhattan. Did a hike up from Wall Street to 110th at the top of Central Park. Saw Carson Daly announcing for NBC. Went to St. John the Divine and happened upon a huge New Year's Eve concert with Judy Collins making a quick appearance.
Sunday we went to church at Memorial, but then in the evening went to Redeemer Presbyterian at Hunter College on 69th Street and Lexington. Great service in many ways.
