It's a Girl!
We went to the doctor's this morning and Vanessa had an ultrasound. It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. You can't help but look on in awe at what is taking place. A little life inside Vanessa's tummy slowing developing. We saw her move her feet and arms a bit and even suck her thumb. God is awesome.
We are both very happy to know we have a daughter. I was hoping for a boy, but of course I am just as thrilled to have a daughter. If she looks anything like her mother I will be ordering the gun and the rocking chair soon.

Dave, You got that right. Vanessa and I are riding in the car. Vanessa is thinking about baby clothes and baby names and cute stuff. Micah on the other hand is thinking about talking to her about the filth we know as boys and whether I should put pellets or slugs in my shotgun.
How cool. Truly a miracle. I mean that you're actually an adult now. Blessings be upon you. May you guide her as she grows---and may you never tell her (say on her 5th birthday) that you were hoping for a boy.
