In three weeks, I will be on a plane . . . bound for the distant land of Germany
I will be traveling with my teacher and 13 other students with varying German speaking abilities . . .
We will be teaching Bible clubs, and we will sing, and do all manner of helpful things for the different churches. All of this will of course be in GERMAN . . .
I have studied German for 4 years . . . though I can't speak it as well as I would like (too lazy) . . . I'm beyond excited about going! My passport came in last week, and my support is slowly, but surely, coming in as well.
Prayers are appreciated . . .
Posted by whitechocolate at April 20, 2005 08:39 PMhi beth. i'm andrea's sister and a former german team member myself. i know how these last couple weeks/days before you leave can be quite busy and a bit nerve-racking too! hang in there! when i went in 2001, there were a couple team members who still did not have all their money the week we were leaving. it was so exciting to watch as the Lord provided that week - down to the day before we left!! there was a lot of praying going on that week for sure. i have been and will keep praying for those on the team who still don't have all their money. have a GREAT trip!!
