After you read this or this or especially this you ought to go download this so that you can view sites that use designs made with this because as of the end of this month this is pretty much toast.

Posted by: aaron at June 8, 2006 11:07 PMSo, obviously April 11 wasn't the end of the world for us, but are we going to be okay? I don't think it's effected any of our sites has it?
Posted by: Beth at June 9, 2006 10:20 AMWell, Nicole tried to open a flash portfolio online (since she is away this week) that I had made for one of our clients and she couldn't view it with IE (which was scary at first because I thought that I had misapplied some code somewhere). But she could view it with Firefox.
Posted by: timf at June 9, 2006 11:46 AMinteresting. looks like this is the key reading for web developers. I wonder if the IE7 beta has already taken this into account...

Posted by: timf at June 10, 2006 05:31 PMBefore you all fall into mass frenzy I suggest you read this article. Then you can sleep easier at night. :)
Also, IE is getting away from ActiveX so this is even less of a problem than pre-IE7. I use Firefox so I'm not pro-IE but to think IE is going away is thinking that needs to be corrected. I think 90% of web browsing is done with IE. For better or for worse it's not going anywhere.
