Below is an e-mail I just received from Brandon Zell's mother:
(Brandon was deployed in January, leaving his wife and newborn on the baby's one-month birthday. He fought in the thick of things in Iraq.)
For those who haven't heard, Brandon is actually ON HIS WAY HOME!!!!! They left Kuwait today and will land in North Carolina around noon tomorrow. Originally we were told they would be in NC for approx. 4 days before returning to Maryland for their homecoming. As of this afternoon, due to the potential hurricane, they are telling us that they may possibly get them back to Maryland on Wednesday. Anyone in the area that would like to be on his street to welcome him home, please e-mail me your phone number. As soon as I have a definite date I will let you know. When we leave Maryland we will call back & make sure you are notified to be at their home. It takes us an hour and a half to get back from his base. This is basically to give him a hearty welcome home and to say a quick hello to Brandon. Hope to see many of you there! Bring your flags!!!
