i love love love you cate & i miss you! sorry i didnt get in touch with you on the phone the other nite. since everyone's commenting on your hair...I love it as well! it's so fashionable & so you! i can't believe you did it...now all the curly heads in the fam have short hair & all the straight haired girls have long hair! well i miss you. you should put more pics on here...but i dont konw if you can or not. love you! alice

I was so excited to find out about this way to keep track of you and your adventures! I guess we got the hair cut fever about the same time because mine is just below my shoulders (9 inches off!!!) I love your hair and I'm sure it looks beautiful curly too! I hope you have a wonderful week and I can't wait to hear more about this beautiful city and your time there.

And I wear my hair curly here most of the time (an adapter for my straightener costs about $40). And Erika! How was D.C. and the inauguration? I hope your meetings with people went well up there. When is the Miss SC pageant again? Sometime in July? I miss you guys!

D.C. was fabulous and I got some wonderful pictures at the inauguration and with my platform people at the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy! I can't wait to see all your pictures and catch up for REAL! ;) I've been blessed with wonderful opportunities to witness and to sing and share my talents and testimony around the upstate weekly! I was interviewed by WYFF NEWS 4 two weeks ago about my platform work and how teen pregnancy is affecting SC as a whole. This week I got the flu though, so I don't have a voice at ALL! I'm so thankful that it was this week and not last week - I was in the opera at Furman! That was an awesome experience. I'll have to let you hear the cd and see the video! ;) MISS SC is July 2-9th!!! the BIG NIGHT is on the 9th!!! BE THERE! ;) I'm still getting ready and working really hard!
